What’s new in the launcher

Every version of the distance calculator at a glance, newest first. Updates arrive by themselves: in the launcher through the update notice at the notch, in the Microsoft Store through the Store.

  1. v1.1.2 Current version

    Tee table and new tray

    • Tee table: the calculator knows the distance and height of all 2520 pins on the 26 courses and fills them in right at the tee, even when the flag is not visible.
    • More reliable and faster at the tee: TEE is recognised even when the bar is dimmed, and the values appear much faster.
    • New tray with the Calculator and Factors tabs. The Calculator tab has the sections Tools, Calculator manual input, Distance Calculator and Putter Calculator.
    • One button switches the style of the objects: fully transparent, transparent with lines, golf ball or normal. The calculator, the putter and the putter bar are now also available as a golf ball and transparent, and the colours follow your look settings.
    • Every object is on the screen only once and stays exactly at the spot you grabbed while dragging.
    • The reset button on the calculator only resets the calculation, the putter stays.
    • Chip list and factors remember the last selected club. New “Save locally” button for your skill set.
    • Notes with Totem Hill and the courses sorted by category like in the game.
    • Stable start, always in G ★ S, and windows open on the right monitor.
    • New introduction on first start and a new tutorial video in the help, all in 6 languages.

    Clean exit and update bar

    • Closing the launcher now ends it completely, it no longer stays invisible in the background, and the next start opens it reliably.
    • Drop-down menus on websites in the built-in browser now stay open.
    • The progress bar when loading an update works again.

    • Everyone starts in G ★ S with a ready layout, matching sizes and the right look, even if you used another view before.
    • The introduction runs once more for everyone, and the arrows point at the right buttons. Your own values stay.
    • Load skill builds: as a file from your PC or with “Load online” directly from all skill builds on the website.

    The introduction runs to the end

    • The calculator starts in G ★ S. Anyone who had set another view before got stuck in the introduction, this is fixed.

    The G ★ S view and detection of lie, putt and club

    • New G ★ S view: notch at the top, tray at the edge and every object placed freely, in the glass look with your own colours.
    • Lie detection: rough, hard rough, sand and snow bunker are recognised and included in the calculation right away.
    • Automatic putt distance: on the green the calculator reads the distance to the hole and shows the percentage at once.
    • Club detection: when you change the club in the game, the calculator changes with it.
    • Browser, TeamSpeak overlay, music player and video and screenshot recording right on top of the game.
    • Notes with the hole images of all courses.
    • Share and load skill builds, quick selection with ready values and encrypted backup of all settings.

    • A rare crash while weather or wind direction slid open or closed is fixed.
